Cookies and Analytics
This site uses cookies to understand how visitors interact with it. When you first visit, you can accept all cookies, manage your preferences, or decline non-essential ones. Essential cookies are required for the site to function. Analytics cookies help us see general traffic patterns, such as which pages get visited and how people arrive. You can also disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Cookies do not contain any information that personally identifies you, but Personal Information that we store about you may be linked, by us, to the information stored in and obtained from cookies. You may remove the cookies by following the instructions of your device preferences; however, if you choose to disable cookies, some features of our Site may not operate properly and your online experience may be limited.
We also use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about your use of the Site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users access the Site, what pages they visit when they do so, etc. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve our Site and services. Google Analytics collects the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit sites, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this Site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy.
If You're a Client
When we build and manage your website, we may have access to your business accounts, including your website platform, Google Business Profile, email list, and social media profiles. That access is used only to perform the work you've hired us for. We do not use your customer data, mailing list, or business information for any purpose outside your project.
If your site collects information from your own visitors, such as through a contact form or email signup, that information belongs to you. You are responsible for your own site's privacy practices and for complying with applicable law. We're glad to help you set up a privacy policy for your site.
Marketing and Updates
From time to time we may email you about our services, a new offering, or something we think is genuinely relevant to your business. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and telling us directly works just as well. Once you opt out, we remove you from that list.
Opting out of marketing doesn't stop the emails you actually need: invoices, appointment confirmations, updates about your project, notices about your site, or changes to these policies. Those are part of doing business together and they keep coming as long as we're working together.
We don't hand your name, email, or phone number to anyone else to market to you.
Photos and Content
If we take photos or video of your business, we may use those images in a portfolio or promotional context. If you'd rather we didn't, tell us in writing and we won't. Photos of identifiable individuals are only used with the appropriate permission.
Data Storage and Retention
Your information is stored in the tools listed above and is accessible only to Chase Newmyer / newmyer.co. We keep inquiry information for up to two years, and client records for as long as needed to provide services and meet tax and recordkeeping obligations, typically seven years after the working relationship ends.
Your Rights
You may request to view, update, or delete your personal information at any time by emailing
hello@newmyer.co. We'll respond within 30 days. Some information may need to be retained for legal or accounting reasons.
Children's Privacy
This site is intended for business owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the most recent version.
